Tim Laman honed his craft as a still photographer, producing stories for National Geographic for many years.  Although he dabbled in video in the early years, it was the Birds-of-Paradise Project that made him want to master the art of motion capture.  A still image freezes a moment, and can be very powerful, but a moving image is needed to convey many stories of animal behavior and conservation.

Tim films with top-of-the line cameras from RED Digital Cinema and others, and since 2012, has been producing award-winning short films, and contributing to major blue-chip documentaries.  He owns a lot of his own footage, so don't hesitate to reach out to inquire about his ever-growing stock library.
