Foja Mountains Article Hits Newsstands
The June issue of National Geographic is out. Check out Tim’s article “Discovery in the Foja Mountains” on page 110. It illustrates the wide diversity of species and what it took to study the remarkable area.
Also, to go along with the NG story was a press release. You can read the articles and view some pictures on the web at TIME or Conservation International.
New articles coming out in 2010
Keep a look out for Tim’s work being published this year. He has two stories coming out in National Geographic’s June and July issues. Later in the year National Wildlife and GEO will be publishing his work as well.
New Orangutan Book
In May, Face to Face with Orangutans was published by National Geographic Children’s Books. Tim shares his stories of working with his wife, orangutan researcher Cheryl Knott, studying the wild orangutans of Borneo. The book is entirely illustrated with Tim’s unique images of fully wild orangutans and gives young readers not only a lot of interesting information about orangutans, but a real sense of what it is like to spend time with them in the rain forest.
