The Wildlife Diaries newsletter is the best way to keep up to date with Tim Laman’s latest work and travels, and to learn about photography and natural history as well. Read through his recent posts here or sign up to receive the posts via email using the form on the right.
Tim was featured in the August issue of Outdoor Photographer. The interview is about what it is like to be a wildlife photojournalist and how he gets the perfect shot. The opening spread (below) features an adult male Bornean orangutan eating ginger stems while keeping an eye on the female he has been following.
Keep a look out for Tim’s work being published this year. He has two stories coming out in National Geographic’s June and July issues. Later in the year National Wildlife and GEO will be publishing his work as well.
This year Tim was granted this award from The North American Nature Photography Association. Every year NANPA reconizes an outstanding nature photographer and they give a keynote presentation at the annual summit.
