Wildlife Photographer of the Year Winners Announced

This past weekend the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition announced the winners and had the gallery opening at the Natural History Museum in London.  Tim was specially commended in the Creative Visions of Nature category and highly commended in the Gerald Durrell Award for Endangered Wildlife.  You can see the winning images below.  Check out the competition’s online gallery and vote for one of Tim’s images.

NANPA Photographer of the Year Award 2009

Last year, Tim received the North American Nature Photography Association’s Outstanding Nature Photographer Award.  The 09 Annual Summit was held in Albuquerque where Tim gave a keynote presentation.  Other presentations that year were by Norbert Rosing, Art Wolfe and Bill Fortney.

In 2009, Tim was a highly honored winner in the Landscapes category.

Ranger Rick Photographer of the Year

A lot of Tim’s work is featured in Ranger Rick.  In 2009, Ranger Rick named Tim as their photographer of the year.

In the May 2010 issue, RR made the announcement using three of Tim’s pictures of the different places he shoots.  Keep a look out for Tim’s work in RR in the future.
